Community Foundation Storyboards

Every year at the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque's "Annual Luncheon" they print and frame storyboards for its members. This is usually to let the donors know how everything is running and success stories to share. I was in charge of designing a cohesive, brand friendly, storyboard design for members to easily view and read. While I was in no way trying to reinvent the wheel here, it needed to look professional, clean, and easy on the eyes. Here is a collection of some of those designs.

Adobe Sketch is BAE.

With the unfortunate dropping of my phone, I was "forced" to purchase a new one. I decided to invest in a super sexy Galaxy 8 Note... In doing so I now had a stylus and a bigger screen to doodle. I have always loved to draw but never took the leap into drawing on a screen. Well friends, the time is now. While I am in the early stages of learning what the Abode Sketch program can do I am also training myself to use a stylus. I am so hip and fresh. You can see my progression in my sketches below. Maybe just maybe someday I can get paid to do this. Or like every other artist, your work isn't worth dick until youre dead.

Professional Window Tint WANTS YOU

Professional Window Tint in Dubuque, Iowa has a promotion where they give their customers a free t-shirt with every transaction. What started as a simple promotion turned into something much larger. People now look forward to seeing the next up and coming design and want to know how they can get one. PWT only gives the shirts away to paying customers so you can see where it might drive a little business here or there. I have been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to design a few of them. Jason Kubitz, the owner, likes to get his inspiration from military and patriotic designs. So, that is pretty much what we have been doing....and it seems to be working. Learn more about the business here.  You can see some previous designs below.
